Nicola Hartfield
Nicola started her professional life in health work specialising in child health and child anxiety. Many of her referrals were a result of parental conflict, alienation and post separation. In 2006 she moved into mediation and has been mainly working in the area of FDR, voice of child, and in workplace and community disputes where the emphasis is on the need for continued relationships and a desire for reconciliation.
Alongside this work she teaches the 5 day online and face to face Aminz Mediation Skills course and is a leadership coach and supervisor for the Police, ACC, MSD, Crown Law, Kainga ora and the Health & Disability Commission.
Nicola lives in Whanganui where her son, his wife and her 2-year-old grandson Xavier live, as well as her 92-year dad who still looks after his 10-acre garden on his own. Nicola's daughter lives in London.
